Causes of Mental Disorders:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The exact cause of mental disorders is still unknown. However, it is believed that they can be hereditary or environmental. Some events, such as major accidents in a person’s past, may lead to mental illness, including sexual harassment. Additionally, people who were raised abnormally in childhood are at a higher risk of suffering from mental disorders later in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many people suffer from depression. If someone experiences excessive depression for more than two weeks, it may be considered a mental disorder. Depression can also lead to suicidal tendencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another issue arises during childbirth, as the physical and mental health of women often deteriorates. Sometimes, mental distress in mothers begins at this stage. Neglect from the family can result in tragic consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Types of Mental Disorders and Symptoms:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mental disorders are generally classified into two types:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Neurosis:<\/strong> This is a mild form of mental disorder. People face various pressures due to social, family, financial, or professional issues. Sometimes the symptoms are evident, and other times they are not. This is how neurosis begins. Many people do not consider it a mental illness, so the problem may grow larger. Many people suffer from neurosis.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Below are some psychological symptoms that may indicate someone is suffering from neurosis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
